When we first began publishing posts to Trip Jar’s blog, we aimed to share two solid articles with you each week.
It felt responsible. Stable. Maybe even slightly ambitious.
The problem is travel posts can quickly become diluted and generic when dictated by a calendar.
Trip Jar was never meant to be a content mill. We don’t want to post an article just because it’s Thursday. We want every story we share to offer something useful, honest, or experienced first hand so we can stand behind it.
That sort of quality takes time.
In the future you can expect our main article to post each Monday. We will continue sharing Notes, photos, travel tips, updates, and the occasional additional article during the week when we absolutely have something worth saying.
This is not slowing Trip Jar down.
It’s making Trip Jar more intentional.
We would rather provide you with one article that helps your family make a better decision than two articles we’ve posted simply because we felt obligated and they could’ve easily come from any other travel site on the web.
Families spend hard earned money on vacations. They place their trust in travel writers to wisely influence their limited time, important memories, and sometimes the trip they have waited years to take.
That level of trust is important to us.
So we have decided to focus on quality over quantity. Real experiences over generic posts. And useful stories over simply filling space.
